Today, April 19, is a day of remembrance for Oklahoma City. Each year, we are touched again by the shock and pain of the 1995 terrorist attack. We are also lifted by the spirit of resilience that the courageous survivors, responders, families, and all of our fellow Oklahomans have shown in the years since.
Today also marks the 103rd anniversary of the founding of IBEW Local Union 1141. In the preamble of our Union’s constitution, our Founders not only set out to organize an industry, but to aim much higher: “To elevate the moral, intellectual and social conditions of our members, their families and dependents, in the interest of a higher standard of citizenship.”
We will always grieve for the tragedy of April 19, 1995. And we will always seek to elevate a higher standard of citizenship. This is a powerful day for all of us, and one which will never pass unnoticed.
May God bless all of Oklahoma City. We know that we are all blessed to be a part of our great organization, we will continue – on the jobsite and in the community – to advocate for the betterment of all in our industry and for everyone who calls Oklahoma “home.”
May those lost rest in peace, and may we honor them by never forgetting our principles as we work toward a brighter future for our members, our families, our state, and our country.

It’s almost time to order new official IBEW 1141 Challenge Coins – and we’d like your help with designs!
Can you draw, use design programs, or anything else to convey a cool idea? If so, please submit your artwork concept to kbeyer@ibew1141.org by 4:30 p.m., Friday, August 30th. We will have a vote at the September Union Meeting and the winner will get 3 free coins to keep or trade.
Also, we have a special “Dues Paid” Challenge Coin at the Hall – free for any member who pays a year in advance. Make your contributions, and we will send it to you with your dues ticket.

Keep Your Beneficiary Information Up to Date
Life changes, and your beneficiary information should too.
Beneficiary designations help ensure that any eligible benefits are paid according to your wishes. Events such as marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, or the loss of a loved one may affect who you want listed as your beneficiary.
Members are encouraged to review their beneficiary information regularly and update it whenever personal circumstances change. Keeping this information current can help prevent delays and confusion for your family in the future.
If you are unsure who is currently listed as your beneficiary or would like to make an update, please contact the union office for assistance.

Using the Website
- Click the Pay Your Dues Here link above.
- Select the second tab, “Log-In Request.”
- Enter the information exactly as it appears on your most recent dues receipt from the union hall.
OR
- If the hall already has your email address on file, complete the second section of the screen instead.
- After you submit the information, your username and password will appear and you will automatically be logged in.
- To create your own username or password, go to “Change Profile.”
Using the Mobile App
- Open the App Store or Google Play on your smartphone.
- Search for ISAQR and download the free app.
- The first time you open the app, allow it to use your camera by selecting “Yes.”
- Tap “Scan QR.”
- Scan the QR code on the back of your membership card.
Once you’re logged in, you can:
- Pay your dues
- View your certifications
- See your skills and qualifications
- Update your profile information
Some sections may ask you to verify the last four digits of your Social Security number before continuing.

Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 344 was chartered in 1975 through the merger of five Oklahoma local unions:
- Oklahoma City Local 291 (1901)
- Lawton Local 362 (1918)
- Enid Local 739 (1918)
- Oklahoma City Plumbers Local 369 (1926)
- Oklahoma City Pipefitters Local 344 (1938)
Our union was built by generations of members whose hard work, dedication, and sacrifice helped secure the wages, benefits, and workplace protections our members enjoy today. About the UA
The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA) is a multi-craft union representing approximately 326,000 highly skilled members in more than 300 local unions throughout the United States and Canada.
Founded in 1889, the UA is one of North America’s most respected building trades unions. It serves as a strong voice for workers by negotiating with contractor organizations and advocating for the pipe trades at the local, state, and national levels. The UA is also an active member of the Building and Construction Trades Department of the AFL-CIO and the Canadian Federation of Labour.
